Kiran Gange is the founder of RapidPricer, an Amsterdam-based AI pricing platform, and co-founder of Global Launch Base, a Noida consultancy helping European companies enter India. He is the author of The Expert Guide to Retail Pricing (Routledge, 2023) and hosts the Retail Price Talk podcast.
Kiran Gange has spent twenty-one years in retail pricing, working with Target, Walmart, Office Depot, PwC, and IBM before founding his own companies. He is the founder of RapidPricer, an Amsterdam-based AI pricing platform serving retailers across Europe and Latin America, and co-founder of Global Launch Base, a Noida-based consultancy that has helped 113 startups from 23 countries enter the Indian market. He also runs Aré Guḍi, a regenerative farm in the Western Ghats of Karnataka focused on agroforestry and an areca diversification model. Kiran is the author of The Expert Guide to Retail Pricing (Routledge, 2023), a practitioner handbook used in graduate programmes across Europe and the Americas, and hosts the Retail Price Talk podcast. He splits his time between Amsterdam, Bangalore, and the farm.
Kiran Gange creates ventures in business, agriculture, and conservation. After twenty-one years in retail pricing — across Target, Walmart, Office Depot, PwC, and IBM — he founded CustoLogix in Palo Alto in 2008, then RapidPricer in Amsterdam in 2017. RapidPricer's RASPER engine now serves retailers across Europe, Latin America, and Asia, with proof points including OXXO and YZA Farmacias (where it delivered a sustained 7% margin lift over three years).
In 2021, he co-founded Global Launch Base with Anubha Chicki to help European and global companies build operations in India. As an EIC (European Innovation Council) Partner, GLB has trained 113 startups from 23 countries through its Prepare to Expand programme. The firm operates with an all-women team in Noida and is extending into agritech and conservation tech partnerships.
In 2026, he opened Aré Guḍi, a regenerative farm in the Western Ghats of Karnataka. The farm is the live innovation hub for an agritech showcase — biocompost, biochar, integrated apiculture, and IoT-based microclimate monitoring — and is the basis for an areca diversification model separating polyphenol fractions for cosmeceutical use from arecoline fractions pyrolysed to biochar.
Kiran is the author of The Expert Guide to Retail Pricing (Routledge, 2023), used in graduate programmes across Europe and the Americas, and hosts the Retail Price Talk podcast. He has spoken at the Professional Pricing Society, Shoptalk Las Vegas, Collider Demo Day, and corporate forums across India and Europe. He splits his time between Amsterdam, Bangalore, and the farm.
What automated pricing systems actually do, what they can't, and the operator decisions that determine whether they create value or destroy it.
The operator's view of cross-border venture-building — what works, what breaks, and what the next decade of European-Indian tech corridors looks like.
Lessons from Aré Guḍi — running a smallholder farm in the Western Ghats while integrating IoT, biochar, and conservation economics into a working model.
Pricing, automation, and what twenty years of working with retailers reveals about how organizations actually decide things — versus how they say they do.
